Welcome to DemoCry. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the DemoCry platform, website, and services (collectively, "DemoCry" or "the Platform"). By accessing or using DemoCry, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree to these Terms, please do not use DemoCry.
These Terms form a legal agreement between you ("User", "you") and Kudos AiN Ltd, a company registered in the United Kingdom (Company Number 17177713) operating the DemoCry Platform ("we", "us", "our").
By creating an account, casting a vote, subscribing to any tier, or otherwise using DemoCry, you confirm that:
Kudos AiN Ltd is a UK-registered company operating the DemoCry Platform. Our primary operational base is currently in Nairobi, Kenya, with founding leadership based across the UK and Kenya.
DemoCry is a direct democracy platform designed to allow individuals to vote on issues, direct funding toward voter-selected solutions, and participate in transparent, blockchain-verified civic engagement across borders.
DemoCry is not a political party, government body, financial institution, investment platform, or licensed securities dealer. It is a civic engagement platform.

DemoCry operates in pre-launch phase at the time of these Terms taking effect. Features, availability, and functionality may change as the Platform develops. Users will be notified of material changes.
To access full DemoCry features, you must create an account by providing accurate information including your name and a valid email address.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activities that occur under your account. Notify us immediately at security@democry.world of any unauthorized access.
Each individual may hold only one active DemoCry account. Multiple accounts, fake identities, bots, or automated registrations are prohibited and will result in immediate termination.
To ensure votes represent real human beings, DemoCry uses AI-assisted video verification during the voting process. You consent to the temporary processing of a short video recording of yourself speaking your vote. See our Privacy Policy for details on how this video data is handled.
Votes on DemoCry are cast through a video verification process wherein you speak your chosen vote aloud on camera. AI verification confirms:
Once verified, your vote is recorded on the Stellar blockchain in an anonymized format. The vote itself is permanent and publicly verifiable; the link between vote and identity is protected by cryptographic separation.
Each verified paying member receives equal vote weight. Free tier users may view and understand issues but cannot cast weighted votes. This ensures that the platform is funded by those participating in its governance.
Once cast and recorded to blockchain, votes cannot be edited, deleted, or reversed by any party — including DemoCry itself, users, governments, or third parties. This is a fundamental design principle.
DemoCry offers a free tier (view-only) and a paid subscription tier ($1 USD/month or local equivalent) that grants full voting rights and access to referral earnings.
Accepted methods may include M-Pesa, debit/credit card, and cryptocurrency, subject to availability in your jurisdiction.
Paid subscriptions renew automatically on a monthly basis unless canceled. You may cancel at any time from your account settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period.
Every $1 subscription is allocated as follows on-chain:
Subscription payments are generally non-refundable due to the nature of blockchain transactions and the immediate allocation of funds to referrers and the Solutions Fund. Exceptional refund requests may be considered case-by-case at our sole discretion.
DemoCry operates an Affiliate Impact Network wherein content creators, influencers, and members may earn commission by introducing new paying members through their unique referral links.

You agree not to use DemoCry to:
The Platform, its content (excluding user-generated content), the underlying technology, the ecosystem branding (including "DemoCry", "Kudos AiN", "Miracle Villages", "Kudos Roads", "Miracle Seed Oil", "Kudos Campus", "Kudos Competitions", "The People's Truth", "Affiliate Impact Network"), and all related materials are the exclusive intellectual property of Kudos AiN Ltd and its founders.
Solutions and methodologies referenced on the Platform (including but not limited to Miracle Villages, Kudos Roads, Miracle Seed Oil, and proprietary blockchain implementations) are protected intellectual property. Details of these solutions are held under trade secret protection and are shared only with verified partners under separate Non-Disclosure Agreements.
You retain ownership of content you submit (such as videos submitted for vote verification). By submitting content, you grant DemoCry a limited, non-exclusive license to process, store, and use that content solely for the purposes of platform operation as described in these Terms and our Privacy Policy.
You represent that you have the right to submit any content you upload and that it does not infringe on third-party rights.

You may terminate your account at any time by canceling your subscription and requesting account closure via support@democry.world. Blockchain-recorded votes remain permanent even after account closure, as designed.
We may suspend or terminate your account immediately, without notice, if we determine you have:
These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any dispute arising from these Terms or your use of DemoCry shall first be addressed through good-faith negotiation via legal@democry.world.
If negotiation fails, disputes shall be resolved through binding arbitration in London, United Kingdom, under the rules of the London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA), unless prohibited by applicable law in your jurisdiction.
For users in the European Union, Kenya, or other jurisdictions with mandatory consumer protection laws, nothing in this section limits your statutory rights.
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated to you via email at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the Platform after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
